Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies and similar local-storage entries are small pieces of data your browser stores when you visit a website. They let the site remember preferences and, if you opt in, measure aggregate usage.
Which categories do we use?
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to function — language preference, the cookie consent record itself, and contact-form submission state. No consent is needed; these are exempt under ePrivacy art. 5(3).
- Analytics (opt-in): Google Analytics 4 with anonymised IP. Loaded only after you grant analytics consent in the banner. We use it to see, in aggregate, which pages people read so we can improve the content. No advertising or remarketing profiling is performed (Consent Mode v2 ad_*-flags stay denied).
Specific cookies and storage entries
| Name | Type | Purpose | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
brandix.consent.v1 | localStorage | Stores your cookie consent decision so the banner does not reappear. | Until you clear it |
_ga | Cookie | Google Analytics 4 client identifier (only set if you opt in). | 2 years |
_ga_<ID> | Cookie | GA4 session state (only set if you opt in). | 2 years |
Change your decision
You can update your cookie preferences at any time. Re-opening the banner clears any prior choice and lets you toggle individual categories.
