Accessibility statement
This accessibility statement applies to the website brandix.fi. The statement was prepared on 21.4.2026. The accessibility of the site is continuously evaluated and improved.
Compliance status
The site largely meets the requirements of WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the Finnish Act on the Provision of Digital Services (306/2019) and the European Accessibility Act (EAA, applicable from 28 June 2025). The assessment is based on Brandix’s own review, browser-based testing tools (including axe DevTools and Lighthouse) and manual testing with a screen reader.
Accessibility considerations
- The site can be used with a keyboard alone; keyboard focus is visible.
- The page language is declared (
lang="en") and the heading structure is logical. - Form fields have clear labels; required fields and errors are announced to screen readers.
- Colour contrasts meet the AA 4.5:1 requirement for body text.
- Animation speed is reduced when the user has chosen reduce motion in their operating system.
- Images have alternative text where they convey meaningful content.
- The site has a skip link to main content and a visible focus style.
Non-accessible content
The following content may not be fully accessible and is being actively improved:
- Instagram embed: The images in the site’s Instagram feed are provided by a third party (Meta Platforms). We cannot guarantee that every post’s caption functions as a complete description for screen-reader users.
- Decorative background elements: Background shapes and accent elements are marked as non-informative (
aria-hidden) so they do not disturb screen readers.
